Dark Frontiers Development Update #2 👩‍🚀

Welcome back to the Dark Frontiers developer update #2!

Since our last update we can disclose a few more key gameplay mechanics and attributes:

Today’s developer update is focusing on an integral part of Dark Frontiers adventure — SUITS! We’re also going to introduce the first alien species you will (hopefully not) encounter in- game— Natopi.

Spacesuits in Dark Frontiers

Spacesuits provide players with their primary survival mechanism, therefore players will not be able to play the RPG version of Dark Frontiers without a suit. But worry not, we will make sure that basic tier suit will be readily available to everyone at little cost. There will also be mining opportunities to upgrade your basic suit and resell on the Gamestarter marketplace if you so wish.

In other words — “No suit, no shoes, no service”.

For those who are deadset on having the rarest, top tier suit, we have some good news! Top tier suits provides some of the biggest advantages in the Dark Frontiers ecosystem, including:

• Playing games for the longest period of time
• The ability to find and mine the most amount of minerals first and convert those minerals into other assets
• Increased protection against enemy attacks
• Faster, more agile movement. The lighter the suit, the more difficult receive damage
• Enjoy additional character skills and attributes
• Make a space fashion statement!

1st Alien Race —Natopi (the blinders)

Hold on to your chair — these ones will give you the spooks. If your nightmares could walk they would look like the Natopi. A subterranean race, encountered in the dark side of the moon. They are observed to be hostile towards unsuspecting travelers. Key features include pale grey skin and a mysterious blinding light source emanating from their heads.
